Flight to Moscow was fine. Modern airport equipped with a variety of sleeping pods. We had a delicious breakfast of chocolate crepes.

About 3 hours, just a layover. Now we’re in Astana.

Thanks for pics, proof that you are there! The pods look so sensible, I wonder if we have them here too. Did you get any real sleep on the plane? Any food? (beside chocolate crepes😄).
Kids slept. Ania slept. I slept a little. Seats were pretty comfortable, and Ania bought me a neck pillow that made it easier to sleep. Right now it’s about 5 in the morning, and I’m wide awake.
Two meals on the first flight, crepes and coffee in Moscow (it was like 7 in the morning there, midnight for us), and then another meal on the second flight. Food was good, and included in the ticket. All kinds of free seatback entertainment free. Very pleasant flight on Aeroflot.
